Hank’s Low Country Seafood Opens Downtown; Little Grand Market Coming to Grandview

Plus, Maison Skalli is opening in Dublin, and Yawning Bear Bakery is headed to King-Lincoln Bronzeville.

Hank’s Low Country Seafood & Raw Bar celebrates its grand opening tomorrow, Tuesday, April 23. The Columbus outpost is a companion to the long-running Hank’s Seafood in Charleston. Located at 6 W. Gay St., Hank’s is operated by Makeready, the company behind the Junto hotel and the forthcoming Chouette French restaurant at High and Gay streets. Hank’s will initially be open for dinner hours Tuesday through Saturday, before adding lunch service in June.

Today, Thrive Companies announced the opening of the Little Grand Market, a food hall located in the heart of the Grandview Crossing development. The market hall will cover more than 22,000 square feet and includes 12 vendors, as well as the Little Grand Bar and Thrive’s in-house coffee shop/cocktail concept, Bada Bean Bada Booze. The market is scheduled to open this summer.

A new eatery called Maison Skalli will soft open on Friday, April 27 at 2746 Festival Lane in Dublin. The restaurant will serve breakfast, brunch and a variety of baked goods.

Yawning Bear Bread Co., which has been appearing at local farmers markets and on select grocery store shelves, will open its own brick and mortar space later this year. Yawning Bear is headed to 999 Mount Vernon Ave. in King-Lincoln Bronzeville, currently home to Three Bites Bakery, which is moving Downtown.

It’s Earth Day today, which means all locations of Northstar Café are giving away their signature veggie burgers starting at 11 a.m. They are available for dine-in only.

Blue Agave Mexican Restaurant recently opened a new location at 64 W. Granville St. in Gahanna.

Indian Spice Restaurant & Bar is coming to 1111 Hill Road N. in Pickerington. An exact opening date has not yet been announced.
