As you likely heard, over the weekend images leaked revealing a new name and logo for Columbus Crew SC. The rebrand included the removal of "Crew" from the team's official name, which was met with immediate backlash, as well as complaints about the look of the new crest.

Some wondered if the team might reconsider the change, but as of today, it's official: Columbus Crew SC is now Columbus SC (though, it should be noted, "the Crew" will remain a nickname for the team and will show up often in official branding, including at the new stadium).
